The Ordinary review: Finally here

If you are slightly interested in the skincare world, you’ve probably heard about “the ordinary”
how good their products are and also how inexpensive it is compared to other brands who offer
the same or similar.

After millions of reviews online I decided to log in to Sephora and try them out. I had an idea of what I wanted to buy, however this brand usually is -Sold Out- so I got what I could, from what they had to Offer, I stopped for a second and thought to myself, what is my skin condition and what do I need?

I had combination skin, more on the dry side, some acne marks and just a simple moisturizer to make myself look glowy all the time.

And so I got the next three.

Hyaluronic Acid 2% +B5
Vitamin C Suspension
Natural Factors Moisturizer

All these 3 were my top choices because I wanted to be very moisturized yet  I wanted to aid my skin with the post acne red marks, so this combo was supposed to do me good.

Hylauronic Acid 2% +B5

After 2 weeks of using the combo I noticed one thing, the hyaluronic acid IS WORKING

I don’t have fine lines ( of course, I’m 24) but I am able to tell when my skin is dehydrated because my smile lines look “dry” and “patchy” so after a week of using twice a day, that dryness simply wasn’t there anymore, my skin felt plump and smooth.

The Natural Moisturizing Factors:

This baby is a good moisturizer, but there’s nothing special about it, it’s very bendable, it’s good for oily and dry skin, doesn’t feel oily, but it just doesn’t wow me, I need a moisturizer that can do more for me, so is it bad? No, not at all, specially for the price, but I like my Ureskin or La Roche Posay moisturizer better, far more pricey, but results are incredible.
I would recommend this for someone starting out skincare, super moisturizing, great price and suitable for most skin types.

Vitamin C Suspension 30% In Silicone

This one I have unfinished business with, I feel like it wants to do what it’s supposed to do, but not sure if the burning+ the strange siliconey consistency is worth it. I used it next to the other products and then I gave it some time on its own, didn’t noticed much difference, also, my favorite mositurisers all have Niacinamide which does not mix well with Vitamin C, so another reason for me not to use.

FINAL THOUGHTS

After using and trying for a couple of weeks I can say that overall the products are good, did they changed my life such as other products have? Not at all, but they were a great extra step to add to my routine and make it more complex yet make my skin better.

Are u excited now that The Ordinary hit Sephora? Let me know in the comments :D
